The Leader in Me (2018-2021)
All school partners are organisations that are struggling with the same problem of lack of motivation and early school leaving, that are aware of it and are wanting to handle it.
The partnering schools are a mix of schools in different countries, rural and urban, with and without expertise in working with The Leader in Me, with or without expertise in Erasmus projects, with general and/or vocational education, in the north and south of Europe.
We are cooperating with the Marcel Koning organisation, licenced by the FranklinCovey organisation. This is a training Institute in Amersfoort The Netherlands. They have been helping us to train the school staff and to implement the method in the partnering schools. The FranklinCovey Education organisation is a licenced training Institute registrated in the EU.
Italy
The I.I.S.S. “Liceo G.G.Adria-Ballatore” is a public Secondary School in Mazara del Vallo. Students attend the liceo for five years, from 14 to 19 years old.
The I.I.S.S. “Liceo Adria-Ballatore” is divided into three sections (Scientific, Classical and Linguistic) and its buildings are located in an area near the city centre.
Mazara is a disadvantaged area in the south west coast of Sicily, with a high rate of mounting unemployment.
The school has increased the number of students migrating from the northern coasts of Africa and east Europe, due to the great number of immigrants peacefully living in the territory.

Greece
The Kallitehniko Gymnasio Geraka me Lykeiakes Taxeis school is a state secondary art school, the first one to be established in Greece in 2004 and up until September 2017,the only one in the greater Athens area in the Attica region. As a result it attracts students from all over the region. It is located at Gerakas, a suburb of the capital of Greece-Athens. It consists of two schools: junior high and senior high school, thus hosting students from 13 to 18. There are three departments: the drama/cinema department, the visual art department and the dance department and students opt for one of these fields according to their skills.

The Marcel Koning productions organisation promotes school development that focuses on three areas: academics, culture and leadership. The organisaton is representing the intellectual property of FranklinCovey Education.

BELGIUM
The Instituut Zusters Maricolen (Maricolen Maldegem) is a secondary school for general education as well as technical and professional education.
De school is located in the centre of Maldegem, a community of more than 20 000 inhabitants, located between Brugge and Gent. The school mission is: 'Bring out the best in each other'.
Number of students: about 700, enrolled in general education and vocational education (technical and professional).
The Institute of Sint-Lutgardis is a public school. It provides education for pupils in the last four years of secondary school (high school). The school has types for general education (gse, in Dutch: aso, in Economics and Sciences), technical education (tse, in Dutch: tso: entrepreneurship and IT) and Vocational education (vse, in Dutch: bso). The pupils are between 15 and 19 years old.
The school site is located in the center of a rural village, Zomergem. It is 30 kilometers north of the city of Ghent and counts about 8,000 inhabitants for 38,27 km².
Latvia

Riga Jugla Secondary School is a public educational institution located in the outskirts of Riga- the capital of Latvia. Students are mostly from middle-class background and from low-income families living in the nearby areas. We have about 1290 students.
Riga Jugla Secondary School offers Humanitarian and social direction Basic educational programme for Basic education classes and 2 programmes: General education direction programme and Vocational direction programme for Secondary classes.

Slovenia
​
The School of economics and commerce (ETrŠ) Brežice has two organisational units: Vocational and Technical School and Vocational College. The school carries out three verified educational programs of a secondary vocational and secondary technical education: the shop assistant program (in-school variant), the technician of economics program and techno-vocational program (the technician of economics); in the organisational unit Vocational College, the college program performed is that of sales representative. There are 280 students in total.
